From a stain after a storm to a fireplace that has been quiet for months, we start by finding the cause — then explain your options in plain language. Cleaning, inspection, repair and installation across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade.
How we work
A chimney is a system — cap, crown, flashing, flue, damper, firebox and masonry, each with a different job. A symptom in the room rarely points to a single cause. So we look at the system, separate what can be seen from what must be inspected, and recommend work that matches the actual condition.
A stain, a smell, a smoky start-up, or a fireplace you want checked before its first fire.
We narrow the cause — water, draft, masonry or flue — rather than guessing from the symptom.
We explain what the work is meant to solve, what it does not, and what to watch afterward.
Cleaning, repair or installation, matched to the condition — with your fireplace’s safety first.

Fireplaces here have a different rhythm. A home may go months without a fire, then want the system ready on the first cool evening. Meanwhile humidity, frequent rain and — near the coast — salt air work on a chimney whether or not anyone lights it.
That does not mean every home has the same problem. A masonry chimney inland, a factory-built fireplace with a metal chase cover, and a gas unit near the water each deserve an assessment suited to the equipment. We do not assume one repair works everywhere because the homes share a ZIP code.
Advice from the field
We write for homeowners, not for people who already know every part of a fireplace — including the honest limits of what a photo can show.

Talk to a technician
You don’t need to know the name of every chimney part. Tell us what you notice, whether the system burns wood or gas, and your ZIP code. If a system shows signs it may be unsafe to use, stop using it until it has been evaluated.
